On September 7, 2024, Dr. Nawattakorn Umasilp, a lecturer in the Fashion and Textile Design program at the Faculty of Architecture, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, participated as a working committee member and judge for the “Sirivajiraphorn Design Fabrics” and Southern Handicrafts Contest. The event was presided over by Mr. Suttipong Juljarern, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, along with Dr. Wandee Kunhunyakorn Juljarern, President of the Interior Housewives Association. The opening ceremony took place at the Laguna Grand Hotel & Spa, Songkhla Province.
The event was also attended by Mr. Prasopchok Yusamran, Advisor to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior; Mr. Siam Sirimongkol, Director-General of the Department of Community Development; Mrs. Orjira Sirimongkol, President of the Community Development Housewives Club; Mr. Warong Saengmuang, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Community Development; Mr. Somnuk Promkiew, Governor of Songkhla Province; Mrs. Maneerat Promkiew, President of the Songkhla Interior Housewives; executives from Songkhla Province; executives from the Department of Community Development; Dr. Yongyut Suwanbutr, Honorary Advisor to the Mayor of Phraek Sa Subdistrict; Mrs. Aranya Suwanbutr, Mayor of Phraek Sa Subdistrict; as well as government officials and relevant personnel.
