The Faculty of Architecture separated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in the 1992 academic year under the name “Faculty of Design” with affiliated departments: The Architectural Technician Department and the Fine Arts Department were later renamed. "Faculty of Architecture" in the 1999 academic year because the institution wanted to use the same faculty name.

Teaching and learning management of the Department of Architectural Technicians Has operated since the academic year 1966 under the name “Department of Architectural Design” accepts students who have graduated with a degree. Mathayom 3 (Mathayom 5) or Mathayom 5 (Mathayom 8) at that time entered the level Higher Vocational Certificate (Vocational Certificate), 3-year program, with 14 first-generation students.

The name was changed from the Department of Architectural Design to the "Department of Architecture" and the curriculum was changed to accept Mathayom 3 (M.S. 3) graduates to study at the Vocational Certificate (Vocational Certificate) level, 3-year curriculum, and academic year.
